You will be fishing from a fully rigged Ranger 461VS bass boat powered by a Johnson 150 hp Fast Strike motor. We have a variety of spinning and casting, highly maintained equipment to choose from. Jim Hanley - Lake Erie Smallmouth Guide Jim Hanley has been operating a smallmouth guide service on Lake Erie for 15 years. His service will be in operation from the first Saturday in May until the end of November. Rates are as follows:
Jim states that all equipment is supplied, if needed, and clients are responsible for their own food and drink. Drift fishing and casting are the means of fishing from his 20' Bass Cat. The typical trip will produce 30-50 smallies averaging 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 pounds per fish, not to mention the occasional monster. Sparky's Charters Mark McGranahan operates Sparky's Charters and guides on Lakes Erie and Ontario as well as the Upper and Lower Niagra River. Chautauqua Lake Fishing Charters A Division of Chautauqua Outdoors Chautauqua Lake Fishing Charters has been in operation since 1993 and is owned and operated by Randy Crist who is a licensed New York State fishing guide. Randy has lived near Chautauqua Lake for 40 years and is well versed with the region. Randy has spend countless hours fishing and learning all about the species of fish in Chautauqua Lake. The fish to target on Chautauqua Lake are Crappie, Walleye, Smallmouth and Largemouth bass. The musky fishing has greatly improved but it should be noted that Randy does not charter for Musky. He can make special arrangements for you via other licensed guides. You will be fishing out of new and well equiped Ranger 18ft bass boat and a 18ft Starcraft both powered by Mercury. Charter rates are $35.00 per hour with the majority of charters in a 4 hour block. All equipment will be provided. You will need to supply yourself with food, beverage, and foul weather gear.
